Cyhalothrin (BAS320I) is a brand new compound jointly developed by BASF and the Japanese pesticide company. It is a semicarbazone insecticide. Cyhalothrin has a unique mechanism of action, itself has insecticidal activity, does not require biological activation, and has no cross-resistance with existing insecticides. Cyhalothrin can effectively control lepidopteran pests and some larvae and adults of coleoptera, and can also be used to control pests such as ants, termites, flies and cockroaches.
