Cyhalothrin (BAS320I) is a brand new compound jointly developed by BASF and the Japanese pesticide company. It is a semicarbazone insecticide. Cyhalothrin has a unique mechanism of action, itself has insecticidal activity, does not require biological activation, and has no cross-resistance with existing insecticides.
