[Member (365WT)]answers [Chinese ] | Time :2019-09-02 | Mycoplasma is a prokaryotic microorganism similar to bacteria found in Nocard et al., 1898, but has no cell wall. It can grow on inanimate artificial medium, 50-300 nm in diameter, and can pass through a bacterial filter. It used to be called pleural pneumonia microbe (PPLO). In 1967, it was officially named as Mycoplasma.
Mycoplasma: Also known as mycoplasma, it is the smallest and simplest prokaryotic organism ever discovered. The only organelle visible in mycoplasma cells is the ribosome (mycoplasma is a prokaryotic cell, and the organelles of prokaryotic cells are only ribosomes). |
