Telugu (తెలుగు) is the language of the Andhra Pradesh in Andhra Pradesh, India, and one of the languages recognized by the Indian Constitution. It belongs to the Central language family of the Darobi language. With a population of more than 80 million, it ranks first in all languages. There are also a few people in Southeast Asia, the United States, the Indian Ocean and the South Pacific Islands. Telugu has formed its own literary language between 300 and 100 BC, and adopted the South Brahmi alphabet. Modern Telugu has developed from this.
