Coriolis force, or simply Coriolis force, is a description of the shift of the mass point of a linear motion in a rotating system due to the linear motion of inertia relative to the rotating system. On Earth, objects moving relative to the Earth are subject to another inertial force. This inertial force, named after the French mathematician Coriolis who first studied it, is called Coriolis force. It is an inertial force. It is a difference produced by different reference systems. We take our own lives. The Earth has a Coriolis force as a frame of reference. In the universe you go to any planet, as long as it rotates, there will be Coriolis force.
