It is a dinosaur under the Diplodocus family. Its skeleton fossils were first discovered by Samuel Wendell Williston. Diplodocus lived in western North America at the end of the Jurassic, dating back to 150 million to 147 million years ago. Individuals can exceed 30 meters in length and weigh about 10 tons. Nostrils are above the eyes. Their necks cannot be raised, presumably to expand the area eaten in situ.
