When did Galileo invent the pendulum law?

In 1583 Galileo discovered the isochronicity of pendulums.

In the Italian city of Pisa, there was a 17-year-old university student Galileo Galilei who was studying medicine at the time. Inadvertently, he observed the hanging lamp hanging from the ceiling flickering slightly. Galileo found that the time it took for each swing did not change as the pendulum of the hanging lamp gradually subsided. This discovery caused Galileo to think: Is it that other swings are similar to chandeliers, and the time of swinging once is not related to the size of the swing amplitude of the chandelier? Does the weight of the chandelier not affect the time of swinging once?

After returning home, he continued his research, discovering and proposing the isochronous nature of the pendulum.
