When you prepare a document for print production, you need a variety of markings to help print service providers align color separation films for proofing, measure the correctness and ink concentration of film calibration, crop films, and more. Printer markings can indicate the document frame boundaries that Adobe PDF supports, such as crop boxes and bleed boxes.
You can use the Mark & Bleed panel in the Advanced Print Setup dialog box to temporarily add printer markings when you print, or use the Add Printer Markup dialog box to embed printer markings in a file and, optionally, in layers. For information about adding printer markings only to printed output, see Including Markups and Bleed. |
